Posted On: 01/24/2020 Excellent Dental Service. I have been with them since I was 14. I love this place. Same staff and same great service. Dr. Anesha F website Logo Google Review
Posted On: 01/16/2020 Receptionist is cool, but every time I come here my confidence seems to drop down a level. For me, conversation with dentist is beyond limited and I always feel emotionally bruised. Made to feel bad about the state of my teeth by their lack of dialogue, the roll of their eyes, the suck of their teeth, and the harsh tone in their voice. I’ve been going here since a teenager and end up with the same experience, always. 💔 Wish D website Logo Google Review

Posted On: 10/09/2019 The wait was appropriately timed. Even though the dentist asked if I had any questions he seemed distracted. The dental assistant who came in with him was very helpful. She demonstrated how to floss underneath a bridge which was very educative. Thank you so much. Shirley M website Logo Google Review

Posted On: 08/02/2019 STAY AWAY FROM DR. ROSEN'S OFFICE!
In February 2018, after experiencing brain fog, fatigue, and a yeast infection in my liver, I went to Dr. Rosen, my dentist of 17 years, for him to take out my dental fillings. He lied to me saying that mercury dental fillings have not been proven to cause harm to human health. Then when I was about the show him the evidence, he confessed that he was unwilling to take the fillings out because it was too risky for him. I had to go to a dental school in NY for them to take out the open fillings I had. As I'm writing this in August 2019, I'm still recovering from the yeast infection that is finally going away.
In addition to that, in March 2018, I had to threaten his office with a lawsuit under the HIPPA law so they could finally give me my dental records. It took me 2 weeks to get my dental records from them. When I got it back, 6 1/2 years were missing from them.
Dr. Rosen and his employees are liars and cowards. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Posted On: 07/11/2019 Horrible experience. A wait time of 3 hours is completely unacceptable. Then when the dentist clean my nephews teeth ...I wish I was exaggerating....he took less than 5 mins. And when I went to inspect his teeth there was still gunk still in between every single tooth in the front. I had him redo it. Worst experience. Barbara B website Logo Google Review

Very reasonable waiting period before being called into see the dentist. The caring and supportive dental team often go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all issues are thoroughly addressed. I will continue to refer people to take advantage of this excellent service 👍. Dr. Gregory H website Logo Google Review
Posted On: 03/09/2019 I had a 10am appointment on a Saturday for a cleaning and at 11:32am I was brought to the back. It is 11:45am and I am still waiting for someone to do my cleaning. I understand that they are busy on Saturdays but it is unacceptable to have someone waiting this long. The staff was apologetic but it still does not change the fact that I have been here this long. I would have preferred when I checked in that they were transparent and told me that they were backed up and I would have rescheduled or left and come back. Patients are asked to be considerate of the providers times but I think the same should be done for the patients. Melissa H website Logo Google Review

Posted On: 01/21/2019 My family and I have been a patients of Jamie S. Rosen for years now. Their work and patient care is more than that of professionals: the experience is like when friends are caring for you. Avenue D Dental is where friends take care of your teeth. Posted On: 01/17/2019 Wish there was an option to give 0 stars. This review is for work done about 5 years ago but I'm pretty sure the service is the same...sketchy. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE under any circumstances. Considering I have had extreme traumatic experiences with dentists in the past...I probably should have done my research before going here...it was the location my insurance assigned me to so I decided to give it a chance. I should have know better especially by the sign from when I walked in the door...the smell of rotting blood or bacteria...but this didn't stop me from going there 3 times & every time I was seen by a different dentist so NO consistency...except consistency of incompetence. The 1st time (Dr. Rosen) the dentist made an insult to me & said 'you need to get that wisdom tooth taken out but you probably wont go and get it done'...mind you this is the first time we met & he didn't even know me but he was probably the best option of the 3 that I saw. The 2nd time I went for a cleaning and the dentist was extremely abrasive with me...I ended up leaving with massive blood clots & swelling in my gums and wasn't able to eat anything for 3 days...probably from infection. The 3rd & final time I was seen by another person who was so inexperienced he didn't even look at my file before coming in to see me & told me I was there for a cleaning which was clearly wrong since I had a cleaning the week prior. He then proceeded to tell me I had a massive cavity on my left molar which I later discovered turned out to be incorrect info. During his attempt to damage a healthy tooth and knowing how terrified I was to be in the chair from the clear tears running down my cheeks, he was extremely rough, didn't wait for the novocaine to kick in & also didn't try to stop when I explained that I was feel everything. He just kept telling me 'no your not...you're fine...its in your head'. Then topped it off with a bonus of his assistant busting the side of my mouth by aggressively grabbing the side of my mouth when I asked them to stop to I could drink some water. After the malpractice was over...I decided to get a copy of my x-rays because I knew the cavity was on the other side of my mouth from the wisdom tooth that needed to be removed...and the x-rays proved exactly what I thought (another competent dentist confirmed later) he put a filling on the wrong side of my mouth & damaged a healthy tooth...so he looked at my x-rays & was confused on which side was left & right...even though the side with the cavity still had a wisdom tooth in it & the other did not...smh. So in summary...go to this place at your own risk...but heed my warning it's serviced as a factory & they don't care about the patient at all. It's best to research any dentist & location before you go...pay attention to all the red flags and at the 1st sign...walk out & don't let them in your mouth. I was young & lazy back then but now I definitely regret not taking the time to find someone good...in the long run it's worth it. Tena G website Logo Google Review

Posted On: 08/22/2018 A few years ago I was looking for a doctor to provide, and help me maintain good dental hygiene. My wife introduced me to Avenue D Dental and they met my need. Frankly, i'm satisfied with the care i'm getting. Every person should have a 'good doctor'. Kenneth C website Logo Google Review

Posted On: 06/08/2018 The dentists are great but the receptionist was very rude. I called to make an appointment due to a bad toothache and tried to work out a convenient time due to my work schedule but the lady was very sarcastic and rude. Chris J website Logo Google Review
Posted On: 05/29/2018 I have been a patient at this facility for 27yrs. Now that I have a family, my children are also patients. The staff is very caring and pleasant today as they were 27yrs ago. The Dr's are wonderful and very knowledgeable in their respective field. I do have to admit, I have my favorite Dr and I love him pieces. The service is great, and the dental exam is thorough. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Michelle W website Logo Google Review
Posted On: 03/21/2018 Receptionist is not very nice with people. I called for the first time to make an appointment and the lady who picked up the phone was rude with me. I'm about to call my health provider to change to an other dental office. Patient deserve a better treatment at the end. Leo E website Logo Google Review
Posted On: 01/24/2018 Horrible...worst place that I have ever been. I had 2 different work I wanted done. My insurance company wanted to cover just one. This place decided that they would not do anything if the insurance company don't approve the second tooth. I changed dentist and my insurance company ask for them to transfer paperworks and they refuse to do so. A waste of time. One star is one star more than they deserve.
