Dr. Yitzchok Abed
Dr. Yitzchok Abed is originally from Rockland County, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University where he majored in biology. Following his graduation from Yeshiva University, Dr. Abed worked at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he edited and submitted medical research grants.
Dr. Abed received his doctorate of dental surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. At NYU, Dr. Abed served as president of Alpha Omega, a dental fraternity, where he organized lectures and outreach programs for dental students. Dr. Abed was also an admissions ambassador, and a member of the aesthetics society, special needs society and pediatric club.
Dr. Abed completed a General Practice Residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital focusing on all aspects of restorative dentistry.
Dr. Abed has two young children and his wife is a physician completing a dermatology residency at Montefiore Medical Center. He welcomes families to the practice and especially enjoys treating children. His hobbies include all things sports related and when not practicing dentistry, he is usually at the park or playing sports with his children.
